Application Security Analyst

We are looking for an Application Security Analyst with experience in cloud infrastructure development to help us improve security in the development of our products.

You will be an integral part of the security team and will be called upon to improve the secure development process already in place, you will work jointly with the development, DevOps and Operations teams with the aim of improving the security posture of the company.

What your weeks will look like:

  • Implement security standards related to the secure development process
  • Advise and assist the various managers in terms of security developments in products and services
  • Conduct security audits at the code and infrastructure level
  • Define and maintain monitoring at the application security level
  • Validate and participate in the application architecture of the cloud infrastructure
  • Maintaining application security documentation

  • Java Spring Boot Microservices
  • AWS ECS Fargate, EC2, Lambda, S3, Elasticache, …
  • AWS SecurityHub, WAF, CloudTrail, …
  • MongoDB (Atlas), PostgreSQL, MySQL (AWS Aurora)
  • RabbitMQ; Keycloa; Twilio
  • Entrust PKI

Our tools:

  • Dev: IntelliJ, Eclipse, Git, Maven, SonarQube
  • DevOps: Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Gitea, Nexus, Opensearch (Elasticsearch/Kibana), CloudWatch
  • QA: TestRail, Robot Framework (Selenium WebDriver)
  • Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom

To complete our dream team, you must have:

  • College/university diplomas in a field related to development or security;
  • Relevant professional experience in application security;
  • Professional experience as a developer;
  • Knowledge of a security framework is a major asset (ISO27001/SOC2/NIST/OWASP);


Job Conditions:

  • Status: Permanent - Full-time
  • Location: Hybrid - Downtown Montreal (100m from Square-Victoria metro station)
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructures;
  • Ability to work in a team, be resourceful and autonomous;
  • Be comfortable in a Francophone and Anglophone environment;
  • Enjoys discussing something other than software development;
  • Possess a valid work permit (essential).
