- Project dashboardQuickly view all initiated signature projects and monitor their current status.
Document integrity
- To preserve the integrity of the original document, a platform digital signature is automatically applied as soon as the document is uploaded. This certifies that the integrity of the original document has been preserved and will continue to be maintained throughout its lifecycle.
- ConsignO Cloud also preserves any files attached to the uploaded document, as well as any digital signatures already applied.
Document longevity (PDF/A and PAdES LTV)
Document longevity ensures that a document can be opened, read, and authenticated for decades by:
- Using PDF/A, an ISO 19005-compliant file format for the long-term archiving of electronic documents.
- Adhering to the PAdES LTV (ETSI TS 102 778) standard for long-term validation of digital signatures, making it possible to confirm that the signature was valid at the time it was applied, regardless of the current status of the certificate (expired or revoked).
Conversion to PDF/A standards
PDF/A (ISO 19005) is the only family of standards specifically designed to ensure long-term document preservation. ConsignO Cloud can convert documents to PDF/A-1, 2 and 3, and can also verify whether documents comply with these three standards.
Adapted to your needs
Sign using digital or electronic signatures
When preparing a document for signing, you can specify whether the signer must use a digital signature or an electronic signature.
Set an expiration date
The person preparing the document can set an expiration date after which the document can no longer be signed, providing greater control over signing timelines and deadlines.
Two-factor authentication
At the sender’s discretion, the signer can be authenticated using a one‑time passcode sent by SMS, an automated voice call providing a one‑time passcode, or a shared secret.
Customization options
ConsignO Cloud can be customized to reflect your organization’s branding, offering a tailored look and feel beyond the standard interface.
API integration
Digital signatures can be integrated into your existing document production systems using a powerful API.
Origin & traceability
Tamper-proof audit trail
ConsignO Cloud automatically generates a digitally sealed audit trail that includes both the original uploaded document and the signed PDF/A‑3 file. This provides verifiable proof of the signing process and its legal reliability.
Certified timestamp
A certified timestamp ensures that the recorded signing date and time are official, independently verifiable, and cannot be altered—strengthening the evidentiary value of the signature.
CertifiO digital signatures
Digital signatures provide high-assurance authentication when elevated levels of reliability are required. Each certificate includes verified proof of the signer’s identity and their professional or employer affiliation.
Trusted electronic signatures
A trusted electronic signature is a signature applied to a document using the platform’s cryptographically protected signing mechanism. It incorporates the signer’s identity and associated authentication information.
Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL) compliant
We are the only Canadian provider of digital signatures recognized by Adobe (Adobe Approved Trust List – AATL) and Microsoft (WebTrust for CA). As a result, digital signatures applied through ConsignO Cloud are displayed as valid when viewed in Adobe Reader.
